Let Your Faith In God Become a Pillar

“Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? Is it well with thy husband? Is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well” – 2 Kings 4: 26 (KJV)

As we celebrate these phenomenal women in the Bible and across the globe, permit me to share this quote, “Strong women aren’t simply born; they are made by the  storms they walk through in life.”

Oftentimes our first instinct is to divulge our situation and, most times, with a negative word, not realising that life and death lie within the power of the tongue. We should consider saying, ‘It is well’.

God has not changed His perception of us, and He is using our trials to mould and shape us in the palm of His hands; He is turning our mess into a message, our test into a testimony, and tribulations into jubilation. My sisters and friends, the boisterous storm is calming, and every dead thing is coming alive. Believe it!

Stand on your faith in God in the midst of your adversity. Stay calm, positive, and resolute in God like the Shunamite woman in our above piece of Scripture. Remembering to speak those things that are not as though they were. Your circumstances will change if your attitude and perception of Christ, the All-Powerful, do not change.

Ladies, be courageous, for God is strengthening you. Therefore, have your loins girded with truth and put on the breastplate of righteousness (Ephesians 6:14). Consider the widow with her two sons (2 Kings 4:1-7) and know that God is working out something extraordinary for you. That little bit of oil that you are carrying on the inside of you, this amazing God will cause you to exploit it and bring you through victoriously.
